Bohol is one of my favorite places in the world. I went to Bohol on Angela’s and my first vacation to the Philippines and I was happy to see it again. The weather is so perfect. The skies are rich with color and the clouds are amazing. I was disappointed that my pictures were able to capture a small fraction of its magnificence.
We went island hopping to see Virgin Island. You could barely see where the water and sky met.
There were cool creatures there.
Fish were plentiful when we went snorkeling on Balicasag Island.
I visited Hinagdanan Caves. The caves were there for ages, but were only discovered by a farmer when he dropped some rocks in a hole he found.
My favorite part of being in the Philippines is assimilating with the locals. Here are some of the kids I played with. There were about 20 more but they hid when I took the picture. These ones apparently are the camera lovers.
We visited the Chocolate Hills. They got their name because during the summer the hills are brown look like chocolate Kisses.
We went on a zipline across Loboc River.
We saw tarsiers, which are the world’s smallest primates.
The resort was pretty empty and the food was delicious.
