jongela.com » Museum of Flight http://jongela.com Mon, 28 Nov 2011 08:08:49 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 The Museum of Flight http://jongela.com/2009/01/the-museum-of-flight/ http://jongela.com/2009/01/the-museum-of-flight/#comments Thu, 29 Jan 2009 06:37:37 +0000 angela http://jongela.com/?p=169 We decided it was about time we got out of the house this weekend so we decided to go to Seattle’s Museum of Flight.  It was a great museum.  They had a section about space exporation (they even had moon rocks) and a gallery full of all sorts of airplanes.  They had a second gallery of WWI and WWII planes with stories about the pilots in each war.  There was also a display with history about the Wright brothers and how early planes were built.  I think the highlight of the trip was being about to go on board a Concorde and Air Force One.  It was pretty awesome.
