We have a shoe thief!
Pixel discovered that there are spots under the arms of our couch that she can climb into where we can’t reach her. As such, she likes to steal our things and hide them in the couch. Her favorite things to hide are stress balls, scissors, and flip flops.
She hides flip flops so often that we put them on top of our table so she couldn’t get them. That didn’t work because all she had to do was climb the table. Now we keep flip flops on top of her cage because she hasn’t figured out how to climb it yet.
- Access to the hideout
- Pixel in her hideout
- Pixel hauling off a pair of scissors
- Climbing the table to pull flip flops down
- Flip flops en route
- Flip flops drive Pixel crazy!
- Since we hid the flip flops, Pixel goes for shoes

What a cutie! She might seem like a nuisance, but I think it’s adorable!

There’s a small opening that we can stick our hand in and get some of the stuff out from. But we usually let her keep the stuff if we don’t need it yet.

Did she chew a hole in your couch in order to have a place to get in?

There was already a hole in the back because the black cloth was put there for aesthetics. We made a hole in the front so we could take the stuff out.

Hahaha! So cute!
Can you get the stuff back out after she’s hid it?
